Where can I get help researching?
Researching is the systematic investigation into and study of materials and sources in order to establish facts.
Get to know your Library and your librarians! They are experts who can help you find the information you need. The Library homepage (linked below) is a great source of comprehensive and credible information from books, videos, articles and databases, both online and in print. There are subject guides available to help guide you to the resources available in your field.
The Academic skills guide (linked below) has useful tips on search techniques and evaluating information.
If you need more assistance, the following services are available
- Drop-in to the Library or make an appointment to get help from a librarian.
- Drop-in to TUTORspace and get help from a tutor.
- Make an appointment with the Academic Skills & Study Support advisors.
- Submit a question using the form on this page.
‘Learner FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)’ is a one-stop-shop that aims to support you by answering your study related questions whilst you are a student at Wodonga TAFE. Learner FAQs compliments our TUTORspace drop-in service on the McKoy St campus by allowing you to search online for answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) or to receive assistance by email or phone. Learner FAQs is a co-operative resource from the Academic Skills & Study Support, Library and Moodle teams.
