Q. What is Ask a Question?
‘Ask a Question’ is a one-stop-shop that aims to support you in building your academic skills while you are a student with Wodonga TAFE. By using the ‘Ask a Question’ portal at ask.wodongatafe.edu.au, you can quickly access information you need to guide your study - and develop life-long study and academic skills to take with you into your future! Ask a Question compliments our TUTORspace drop-in service on the McKoy St campus by allowing you to search online for answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) or to receive assistance by email or phone.
How do I use Ask a Question?
You are able to quickly search the ‘Ask a Question’ database to find information from a range of pre-populated topics and ‘FAQs’. If the answer you need is not readily at hand, you can use the online form to ‘Submit a question’ to the Academic Support Tutors, who will endeavour to respond within 24 hours Monday to Friday.
What kind of support is available from Ask a Question?
Ask a Question currently has FAQs from the Academic Learner Support, Library, and Moodle teams. There is also a General section with information relevant to all students, such as basic IT support. You can browse these sections in turn if you select to browse by Services in the top right menu. For each Service selected you can also browse by Topic.
The search box at the top of each page will always search all available FAQs, including each Service and the General section.
Select an FAQ. The FAQ will include the following sections.
- Answer - this will include helpful hints, tips or information. It may refer you to services available to help you further, or direct you to helpful resources via the Links & Files.
- Links & Files - these will direct you to helpful websites, guides, handouts, videos, other useful FAQs and so on.
- Media - this area may include embedded guides or videos to help you further.
We will be adding more and more FAQs as we learn more about what help you need, so drop back from time to time to see what's new.

Remember, if you don't find your answer, you can Submit a Question using the form on ask.wodongatafe.edu.au. If we receive lots of the same questions, we will add the answers to an FAQ, so you can help us build it by asking those questions!
